Not every improvement to a lending journey needs to be big. Sometimes it’s the smaller features that add up to make a difference – fewer stalled applications, less manual work, faster turnaround. This month we’ve rolled out three new features, each solving a specific piece of everyday friction that slows loans down. Individually modest. Together, a meaningful step toward the key driver of growth: getting more good loans over the line, faster.
Automated Open Banking reminder emails
Open Banking is often mandatory, but applicants don’t always connect the first time. Some hesitate to link their bank account, others simply don’t have the app to hand. Applications stall, and only moves again once a loan officer spots the gap and chases it manually. Some may have already lost momentum at this point and dropped out.
We’ve fixed this with an automated chase that fires at the two most common stall points: when an applicant skips the initial prompt, and when an officer’s manual request goes unanswered. The Decision Engine follows up by email automatically.
- Applications spend less time stalled waiting on a missing Open Banking connection
- Fewer applications are abandoned partway through
- Loan officers spend less time manually tracking down who needs chasing
- Members get a structured, low-friction way to finish what they started, rather than a dead end

Configurable member email templates
Member-facing emails are often the most visible part of the lending journey. Therefore wording needs to match how your credit union talks to its members. Notifications should be fired at the right point in the process.
Credit unions can now edit the content of member email templates and configure which notifications are sent, directly and without waiting on their software provider.
- Member communications stay on-brand and accurate without a request-and-wait cycle
- You decide which notifications fire and when, based on how your process actually works
- Faster turnaround on getting communications right

Analytics data export
The NestEgg Decision Engine gives you a strong view of your lending performance, but that view has always remained in the Dashboard. If you wanted to drop a chart into a board pack, hand a metric to someone who doesn’t (and shouldn’t) have platform access, or combine NestEgg data with your own core system or BI tooling, your only option was to rebuild it by hand, or ask us to pull it for you.
Decision Engine users can now export analytics data directly out of the dashboard in a portable, structured format, ready to drop into board reports, management packs, or your own BI tools. It’s aggregate data only -nothing member-identifiable – so it’s safe to share more widely than dashboard access itself ever could be.
- Get NestEgg data into board packs and management reports without manual re-keying
- Share performance data with colleagues, boards, or delegates who don’t have dashboard access
- Combine NestEgg analytics with your own core system and BI data for a fuller picture

Smaller features, adding up
Looked at together, these new features remove three separate points of friction – one for members trying to complete an application, one for teams trying to keep communications on-brand and one for staff trying to report on performance.
